The South Yorkshire Postgraduate teaching programme on Friday 3rd February was on the topic of Subfertility.
Jonathan Skull, Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, started off the afternoon with a lecture on the causes, investigation and managment options in subfertility.
Moses Batwala, Specialist Registrar, then gave a talk on the management of hydrosalpinges and reported a case of a successful pregnancy following hysteroscopic occlusion of hydrosalpinges with ADIANA. This is the first reported success of this technique in Europe.
